คืน 31 สิงหา ชวนชมปรากฏการณ์บลูมูน ดวงจันทร์เต็มดวงครั้งที่สองของเดือน!!

ดร.ศรัณย์ โปษยะจินดา รองผู้อำนวยการสถาบันวิจัยดาราศาสตร์แห่งชาติ เปิดเผยว่า ในวันที่ 31 สิงหาคม 2555 ที่จะถึงนี้ จะเกิดปรากฏการณ์บลูมูล (Blue Moon) หรือ ดวงจันทร์จะเต็มดวงรอบที่สองในเดือนเดียวกัน ซึ่งโดยปกติแล้วปรากฏการณ์ดวงจันทร์เต็มดวง (Full Moon) จะเกิดขึ้นเพียงเดือนละ 1 ครั้งเท่านั้น หากเดือนไหนที่มีดวงจันทร์เต็มดวง 2 ครั้ง จะเรียกดวงจันทร์เต็มดวงในครั้งที่สองว่า “บลูมูน” ในภาษาอังกฤษมีสำนวนว่า Once in a blue moon หมายถึงนาน ๆ จะเห็นสักครั้ง หรือเปรียบได้กับคำว่า Rarely ในภาษาอังกฤษ
ปรากฏการณ์บลูมูน เกิดขึ้นเนื่องจากใน 1 ปี มี 12 เดือน และบางเดือนมี 30 วัน บางเดือนมี 31 วัน แต่ว่ารอบของดวงจันทร์มีเพียง 29.53059 วันต่อเดือน และใน 1 ศตวรรษจะมีทั้งหมด 1200 เดือน โดยจะเกิดดวงจันทร์เต็มดวงได้ถึง 1236.83 ครั้ง แต่จะเป็นบลูมูนแค่ 36.83 ครั้ง เฉลี่ยแล้วประมาณ 2.72 ปีต่อครั้ง หรือประมาณ 3% ของฟูลมูน จะเป็นบลูมูน แต่ที่พิเศษกว่านั้นคือจะมีการเกิดบลูมูนปีละ 2 ครั้งในทุก ๆ 19 ปี ซึ่งปีล่าสุดที่เกิดบลูมูน 2 ครั้งซ้อนในหนึ่งปี (Double Blue Moons) ก็คือปี พ.ศ. 2542 และถัดไปคือปี พ.ศ. 2561
สำหรับในวันที่ 31 สิงหาคม 2555 ผู้สังเกตจะเห็นดวงจันทร์เต็มดวง รอบที่สองในเดือนเดียวกันทางทิศตะวันออกเฉียงใต้เวลาประมาณ 18.18 น. โดยดวงจันทร์เต็มดวงอย่างสมบูรณ์เวลาประมาณ 20.57 น. และตกทางทิศตะวันตกเฉียงใต้ในเช้าของวันที่ 1 กันยายน 2555 เวลาประมาณ 05.37 น. ตามเวลาประเทศไทย ทั้งนี้ดวงจันทร์จะสว่างเต็มดวงเหมือนเช่นเคยโดยไม่เปลี่ยนเป็นสีน้ำเงินแต่ อย่างใด และเรายังสามารถสังเกตเห็นปรากฏการณ์ Blue Moon ครั้งต่อไปได้ในวันที่ 02 กรกฎาคม 2558

วันที่ 31 สิงหาคม เกิดพายุสุริยะระดับรุนแรงที่สุดในรอบปีนี้ ทิศทางรอบด้าน ส่งพลังงานบางส่วนมาในแนวเดียวกับโลกซึ่งคาดว่าโลกจะได้รับผลกระทบหลายรูป แบบ ซึ่งมีโอกาสสูงที่จะอยู่ในระดับรุนแรงระหว่างวันที่ 1-4 กันยายน ดังนั้นผู้ทำงานรับมือสถานการณ์ฉุกเฉิน และการเตือนภัยโปรดติดตามสถานการณ์อย่างใกล้ชิด พี้นที่เสี่ยงภัยมากเป็นพิเศษได้แก่ประเทศในแนวมหาสมุทรอินเดีย มหาสมุทร แปซิฟิกด้านฝั่งเอเซียแนว ring of fire โดยเฉพาะทางใต้ รองลงมาคือบริเวณอเมริกากลาง-ใต้ ส่วนผู้ที่อาศัยในบริเวณอื่นๆก็โปรดติดตามสถานการณ์อย่างใกล้ขิดเช่นกัน

MAGNIFICENT ERUPTION: A filament of magnetism curling around the sun's southeastern limb erupted on August 31st, producing a coronal mass ejection (CME), a C8-class solar flare, and one of the most beautiful movies ever recorded by NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory:

The explosion hurled a CME away from the sun traveling faster than 500 km/s (1.1 million mph). The cloud, shown here, is not heading directly toward Earth, but it will deliver a glancing blow to our planet's magnetic field. NOAA forecasters estimate a 40% chance of strong polar geomagnetic storms when the cloud arrives on Sept. 3rd.



เมื่อวันที่ 31 สิงหาคม มีการระเบิดอย่างสวยงามของดวงอาทิตย์ ก่อให้เกิด CME Class C8 ,มันเป็นการระเบิดที่สวยงามที่สุดตั้งแต่ดาวเทียม SDO ของนาซ๋าได้มีการบันทึกมา CME มีความเร็ว 500km/s หรือ 1.1 ล้านไมล์/ชั่วโมง ยังไม่พอมันยังวิ่งมายังโลกอีกด้วย มาถึงประมาณวันที่ 3 กันยา :boo:
